Uranus, Uranus, way out in the blue
Spinning on your side, it’s a funny point of view!
You’re a giant ice ball, tilted on your rear
And saying your name makes everyone cheer!
Uranus, Uranus, giggling in the night
Seven little moons, shining ever so bright!
Methane in the air, makes you look so teal
Uranus, Uranus, how do you really feel?
Windy, windy Uranus, the gusts are really strong
Ripping through your atmosphere, all the night long!
You’re too far from the sun, to get a decent tan
So you’re freezing cold, a very chilly plan!
Uranus, Uranus, giggling in the night
Seven little moons, shining ever so bright!
Methane in the air, makes you look so teal
Uranus, Uranus, how do you really feel?
Some say you smell of rotten eggs, a hydrogen sulfide treat!
But I think you’re magnificent, from your head down to your feet!
(Or, well, where your feet would be, if you weren’t a giant ball of gas!)
Uranus, Uranus, so far, far away
Nobody’s visited you, not ’til today!
Maybe someday soon, a spacecraft will arrive
To see your tilted rings and help your spirit thrive!
Uranus, Uranus, giggling in the night
Seven little moons, shining ever so bright!
Methane in the air, makes you look so teal
Uranus, Uranus, how do you really feel?
Uranus… Yeah! … Hee hee! … Uranus!
All hail to Uranus!!!
All hail to Uranus!!!
Because it is famous!!!
And infamous!!!
And probably contagious!!!!!
